Aston Villa v Sunderland
Villa sent out a strong enough team to beat QPR in the Cup the other night and losing 1-0 was a real shock result, so I think Martin O'Neill will have them fired up and ready for this one.
I'm just not sure with Sunderland. They were fortunate to beat Middlesbrough last week, and they were very fortunate to beat Northampton the other night.
Last year this was Sunderland's first away win but I don't think it'll be repeated.
Verdict: 2-0
Fulham v West Ham
Fulham are going very well at home and were a bit unlucky last week at Blackburn. They've got some good players now, which is the difference.
As for West Ham, it's very early in Zola's reign - I know they played well against Newcastle last week but that was Newcastle - Fulham will give them a more searching examination.
Verdict: 2-1
Man Utd v Bolton
There were signs at Stamford Bridge last week that United are getting there, they've just taken a while to get going.
But Bolton worry me - I thought they were going to have enough to stay up and be OK but, when I look at them, something's missing and I'm not sure what it is.
Verdict: 3-0
Middlesbrough v West Brom
Middlesbrough have played better than their results suggest. They're a young team and will take a while to gel, but I think they'll win this. We saw last week at Aston Villa that Villa had more class, experience and better players in key areas than West Brom, and I think Boro will be the same.
But good on Tony Mowbray, he won't change their style and will hope they've got enough.
Verdict: 2-1
Newcastle v Blackburn
If Newcastle go for Terry Venables as a short-term fix, it'll be a good move. It'll be easier to sell the club with a manager in who's taking them up the league, and if that happens then it wouldn't matter if it was Bela Lugosi [the actor who played Dracula - come on keep up - ed]doing the job. The fans will be happy and Mike Ashley could sell at a good price.
Blackburn had a great Cup 1-0 win against Everton the other night, so I think they're good for a draw here.
Verdict: 1-1
Stoke v Chelsea
Chelsea are very good this season and I think they'll be able to deal with the Stoke bombardment.
Stoke did superbly to get a point at Liverpool and defended really well, but it's different at home, you have to open out more, and Chelsea will probably have more of the ball and wear them down.
Verdict: 0-2
Arsenal v Hull (Kick-off 1730 BST)
We know Hull have made a good start, but this is completely different, they're going to somewhere where you don't see the ball for chunks of the game.
Hull have definitely got something this season, and have a great sense of togetherness, but as for getting a result here...
Verdict: 3-0
SUNDAY
Portsmouth v Tottenham (Kick-off 1330 BST)
Portsmouth have conceded 10 goals in the last two games, and it's not just the number of goals, but the style of their defending - it's very poor.
Spurs had a good result at Newcastle the other night [2-1] - both teams probably thought they would have started the season better, but Tottenham were still buying players right up until the transfer window, so Portsmouth could find a bit of forgiveness here.
Verdict: 2-1
Wigan v Man City (Kick-off 1600 BST)
What an odd week - Wigan go to Ipswich and score four, while moneybags City go to Brighton and lose.
If I were Wigan I'd make sure I played a big strong competitive team against City and make them hurry. City have got some real quality in all areas, so it's a case of softly, softly catchy monkey.
Verdict: 1-1
