Dundee Utd v Hearts
This will be a tough game. United's win last week against Aberdeen at Pittodrie took some pressure off Craig Levein after a stuttering start to the season.
That victory could set them off on a good run and they could win at Tannadice by the odd goal.
If United were still searching for their first league win then they could've been under more pressure. The unpaid wages story may have a bearing on the Hearts players, but they're playing quite well at the moment.
Csaba Laszlo has got Hearts well-organised and it will be close with United just shading it.
Prediction: 2-1
Falkirk v Hamilton
I'm going for a draw in this one. Falkirk are looking in good shape, and having recorded a win and draw in recent weeks will have given them a boost.
John Hughes has fashioned a good football side, but they're still not scoring a lot of goals.
What can you say about Hamilton? They've been the surprise package this season and haven't showed any signs of being overawed with the step up to the SPL.
I can see goals in this one and both sides having to settle for a share of the points.
Prediction: 1-1
Inverness v Kilmarnock
Inverness are struggling a bit just now.
The extra-time Co-op Insurance Cup victory over Morton in midweek will have raised morale among the players, but league defeats by Hearts and St Mirren mean the pressure is on to get back to winning ways.
I've been impressed by Kilmarnock so far this season, although Jim Jefferies would've been disappointed at the performance in the 3-1 defeat by Celtic.
It could be a close game, but I've just got a feeling Killie will sneak the points.
Prediction: 1-2
Motherwell v St Mirren
Motherwell are not in the best of form. When you don't win games you lose confidence. I thought they played okay in spells in the defeat by Rangers - even though manager Mark McGhee had a right go at his players.
They will raise their game ahead of the Uefa Cup return leg against Nancy, as the SPL is still their bread and butter. I think they could open up St Mirren on Saturday.
Saints need to start winning. Jim Hamilton is playing well for Gus MacPherson's side and they need to get better service to him during games.
Well will be looking for a win to set them up for their Uefa Cup tie, but I feel St Mirren will do enough to secure a point at Fir Park.
Prediction: 1-1
SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER
Hibernian v Rangers
Hibs have got it together in the past couple of weeks and will make it hard for Rangers in what should be a cracker at Easter Road.
I think the home side have the ability to score on Sunday, but Rangers are looking good and can grind out wins like they showed against Partick Thistle in the Co-op Insurance Cup.
Rangers seem to have a bit more creativity this season. Pedro Mendes has been the difference in midfield. David Weir would hit long balls up to the forwards last term, but now he and Bougherra are passing it to Mendes and Davis to begin attacks.
Derek Riordan coming off the bench is a real impact player. Although he appears short of match fitness he scored a belter last week against Hamilton.
He will thrive in the atmosphere if he features on Sunday, but I still think Rangers will take maximum points.
Prediction: 1-2
