Dundee United v Aberdeen
I always look forward to the north-east derbies. The games I played in were usually tight but produced lots of chances in front of goal.
Dundee United were really impressive when they drew 3-3 at Ibrox on Tuesday. They had great energy and their passing was slick.
I think United will enjoy good spells of possession but Aberdeen are strong enough to dig out a draw.
The Dons finally got a win at home last week and they are right in the mix in what is a very keenly-contested mid-table.
Prediction: 1-1
Hamilton Accies v Falkirk
Hamilton are beginning to struggle a bit and, if they are going to stay up, it's games like this where they need to pick up points.
It might be time to change the way they set up and go with two up front because the goals have dried up.
Falkirk also need to hurt teams more and add a clinical edge to their neat passing game.
The Bairns beat the Accies comfortably at home in September and I'm tipping them to take three points again.
Prediction: 1-2
Hibernian v Inverness CT
I was surprised at how disappointing Hibs were against St Mirren last weekend. Having caused Celtic all sorts of trouble with their front three, they didn't create anything at Love Street.
They will have been pleased with the clean sheet, so what they need now is something in between; solid defending and good attacking play.
Confidence in the Inverness ranks will be low after their heavy defeat at Ibrox and they are on a long run of defeats.
They will want to get that result out of their system and, as long as they avoid losing an early goal, Inverness will feel that can make life difficult for Hibs.
Prediction: 2-1
St Mirren v Hearts
St Mirren have put together a decent run of results and they are grinding out draws at home when they would have lost in previous seasons.
They are well organised at the back and have some good ball winners in midfield, while they always play at a good tempo.
Hearts are not causing teams enough trouble and look a little lightweight up front.
They haven't won for a while and I think they might have to settle for a point in this one.
Prediction: 1-1
SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER
Kilmarnock v Rangers
Killie made a great start to the season but their form has dipped a little of late, with the injury list beginning to build up.
I'm sure they will give Rangers a real game and there will be periods when they do well in front of their own fans.
Rangers got a wake up call against Dundee United and won't want to lose any more points in the race for the title.
Walter Smith's side lost a few bad goals on Tuesday but they were excellent going forward and, if they create anything like those number of chances again, I can't see them slipping up.
Prediction: 1-2
