Falkirk v Hamilton Accies
Falkirk got a good point last week at St Mirren. They are scraping away, getting points here and there. I expect Hamilton to take something, though. Their winning streak came to an end with the defeat at Fir Park last week, but I think they'll be strong enough to get a share of the spoils at Falkirk.
Prediction: 1-1
Hearts v St Mirren
As you'd expect, St Mirren will be on a high after their Scottish Cup win over Motherwell. Similarly, Hearts will be boosted by their victory at home to Aberdeen. It will be a tight match and I see this one resulting in a draw.
Prediction: 1-1
Inverness CT v Hibernian
A very hard match to predict, this one. Inverness are the home side and they have proved hard to beat since Terry Butcher took over from Craig Brewster. Hibs are capable of heading up to Inverness and coming away with the three points, but I suspect Inverness are the hungrier side, desperate to catch the pack in the league, so I think they will sneak it 1-0.
Prediction: 1-0
Rangers v Kilmarnock
After getting the point against Celtic last week, Rangers now have the chance to move to the top of the table and pile the pressure on their old rivals. Kilmarnock will keep it tight for periods of the game, but Rangers will have enough quality in their side to grab a couple of goals.
Prediction: 2-0
SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY
Motherwell v Celtic (1400)
Like all the other matches this weekend, I see this one being tight too. Mark McGhee has been very critical of his side after their poor performance in the cup at St Mirren, but in my opinion they are still playing well and will give Celtic a game. Gordon Strachan will have his team ready to dig in to get a result on the poor surface at Fir Park. I expect Celtic to sneak it.
Prediction: 1-2
