Birmingham v Stoke
Birmingham got a good win to kick off their season, but they are in for a long, hard winter, I believe.
What they will know, being a yo-yo club, is that you have to identify certain games that you could - and should - win, and this will be one.
Stoke have had one good game and one bad one, and I suspect that might be par for the course this season.
Either way, I certainly don't expect this to be a classic in any way, shape or form.
Verdict: 1-1 Match preview
Hull v Bolton
Both of these teams are scrapping already - certainly Hull. The way the Tigers were ripped apart by Tottenham the other night will worry boss Phil Brown, because as good as Spurs were, Hull were as bad.
Bolton, too, will not be happy how the season has started after losing to Sunderland first up and being outplayed.
I see this being a real battle. I'm going to go for a messy win for Hull, whose home voodoo - they haven't won in the league there since December - has to come to an end some time.
Verdict: 1-0 Match preview
Man City v Wolves
Wolves enjoyed an excellent performance and result the other night against Wigan and that was without most of their first-choice strikers, so that has to bode well for boss Mick McCarthy.
But there is still a great euphoria and expectation surrounding Manchester City, and after a good win first up, the new players have had a further week to get to know each other and bed in.
With that in mind, and despite McCarthy returning to one of his former clubs, I have to back City to win in front of what is sure to be a packed, passionate crowd.
Verdict: 2-0 Match preview
Sunderland v Blackburn
New striker Darren Bent has started well for Sunderland with two goals in two matches, and even though they lost last time out, there's no shame in going down to what looks a very good Chelsea.
Blackburn lost their first game, of course, and I expect they will be going to the Stadium of Light to make things difficult and frustrating for the home team.
I expect Sunderland to come out on top in this one.
Verdict: 2-1 Match preview
Wigan v Man Utd
Wigan could not have enjoyed a worse couple of days, to be honest. First they lose to Wolves and then Manchester United lose to Burnley, which is exactly what the Latics didn't need ahead of a big Premier League encounter against the champions.
If anything is going to concentrate the minds of Manchester United's players it is that defeat and I think you'll see a very strong and determined side come out to face Wigan on Saturday.
I think United will be too much for Wigan here, but the Latics will be all right this season. Roberto Martinez and a couple of his new players have to get used to the Premier League, but if the manager gets them playing anything like he did Swansea last season, they'll be absolutely fine.
Verdict: 0-2 Match preview
SUNDAY
West Ham v Tottenham (1330)
Some critics expected Wolves to turn West Ham over in the first game of the season, but Gianfranco Zola's side stood up to be counted and pulled off a very good win in impressive fashion.
Tottenham, too, have got off to an absolute flier. They were very good against Liverpool and, even though Hull helped them, were good again on Wednesday night.
Harry Redknapp returning to West Ham always makes for a good game I feel, and I expect both teams to carry on their good starts with a draw here.
Verdict: 1-1 Match preview
Burnley v Everton
Wednesday's victory over Manchester United was just a fantastic result for Burnley and they will go into this game riding a wave of euphoria.
I saw Everton manager David Moyes watching in the crowd, though, and he will know exactly what to expect. The question is can Burnley reproduce that performance time and again - I'm going to argue that they can't.
As for Everton, they need to sell Joleon Lescott and they need to do it now. The fella doesn't want to play for them, they can get £20m or so and strengthen the squad, so just do the deal, say thanks very much and goodbye to him.
Do that, and win here as I expect them to, and that will give the Everton fans something to crow about.
Verdict: 0-2 Match preview
Fulham v Chelsea (1600)
You look at Roy Hodgson at Fulham and again he's proving himself a good manager. He's bought Damien Duff, he's about to sign Jonathan Greening too, and, slowly but surely, he is building a good side at Craven Cottage.
However, Chelsea seem to be on a roll and the fact that they can rotate the team without taking a hit in quality is massive for them.
I know this is a local derby, but I suspect the Blues will be too strong for Fulham - throw in the fact that they are three points ahead of Manchester United already too, and that will only inspire them to further gains, I'm sure.
Verdict: 1-2 Match preview
MONDAY
Liverpool v Aston Villa (2000)
Liverpool, after a poor start against Tottenham, were very good against Stoke on Wednesday, taking them apart at times.
Villa, though, had a poor start to their season with defeat against Wigan, and they just don't look strong enough defensively at the moment.
With that in mind, I expect Liverpool to pick up where they left off against the Potters and make it successive victories.
