Chelsea - Sunderland
Sunderland haven't been particularly good on the road and I think that the extra week off because of the weather could have done the likes of Nicolas Anelka and Joe Cole the world of good in terms of getting fit.
After a good start to the season, Sunderland have tailed off. They had that spell where they defeated Liverpool after almost beating Manchester United. Soon after that they lost Lee Cattermole. That was a big blow and I think Steve Bruce still regards Sunderland as a little too easy to beat on the road.
Verdict: 2-0
Manchester United - Burnley
United have had an iffy couple of weeks, but they are playing Burnley. Although it is Brian Laws's first game in charge and you always get a bit extra out of the players as a result, they still haven't been good away from home.
I think United will be too strong. They went away for a few days to Doha, where the weather would have done them the world of good. They'll be refreshed and you fancy them to kick on now.
Verdict: 2-0
Portsmouth - Birmingham
Birmingham, as everyone knows, have been on an unbelievable, club-record run. They are difficult to beat, defensively excellent, but runs like theirs tend to end at places where you don't expect it.
Portsmouth would have been boosted by their FA Cup victory in the week. I just feel that at home against a team who are now a big scalp they will lift themselves and win this one.
Verdict: 2-1
Tottenham - Hull
You always fancy Tottenham at home. They have also been away for a bit of a winter break in the sun, which might give them a lift. I'm not sure if Aaron Lennon will be fit, but Spurs have a lot of attacking talent to choose from and you never fancy Hull on the road.
Tottenham will create a lot of chances in this game and I don't see Hull being able to hold out.
Verdict: 2-0
Wolves - Wigan
Wolves will look at this as a winnable game - and they are more than capable of getting a victory. They look a lot better going forward, especially at home.
I say this every week, but you just don't know what you are going to get with Wigan. One week they get a victory and the next they are taken apart far too easily. That tells you something about the mentality of the players.
Verdict: 2-1
Everton - Manchester City (1730)
New Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has made a very good start. There is still the argument that Mark Hughes could have won the last four games, so it's early days, but Mancini has given players a fresh start and has played quite a few people who were on the fringes. That has created a healthy competition in the squad.
City are up against an Everton team who I thought could and should have beaten Arsenal. It was a very encouraging performance. On the back of that result, I think they will give a similar display but this time get the victory.
Everton had an awful start to the season with injuries, but David Moyes didn't go on about it and they are starting to get those players back now. I can see Everton having a very good final third of the season.
Verdict: 2-0
SUNDAY
Aston Villa - West Ham (1330)
Villa are strong at home. Although a lot of teams have worked out that you have to sit deep against Martin O'Neill's side, I don't think West Ham have the type of players to do that.
If the West Ham takeover doesn't go through, then they might have to sell. That is a worry considering their position in the table, especially as you only ever sell your better players.
Verdict: 2-0
Blackburn - Fulham
This has become a big game for Blackburn. They are starting to concede a lot of goals which is unusual for a team managed by Sam Allardyce. There are stories that 'Big Sam' is close to the sack, but he is good at getting teams to stay up, so I don't buy into that. They are just on a bad run, that's all.
Fulham are without striker Bobby Zamora, who has been a big player for them and arguably their best player this season.
Verdict: 2-1
Bolton - Arsenal (1600)
It is Owen Coyle's first game in charge of Bolton, so it's a big one. He's taken the view that the Trotters have a better chance of staying up than Burnley - and who's to say he's wrong?
When you get a new manager, you always get one or two players with a point to prove. Arsenal struggled last week with the physical element of Everton's play and I think that might be the case against Bolton on Sunday.
Verdict: 1-1
